A working meeting was held in Gjilan between FLOWS, the Mayor of the Municipality Alban Hyseni, the public company RWC Hidromorava, the contracting company ALFA I, and the supervision company.
The purpose of the meeting: to ensure that the major project for the installation of the new water supply network progresses quickly and without obstacles.
Where there is work, there are always challenges. Therefore, during the meeting, discussions were also held about the progress of the works for the installation of the water supply network in the city, as well as about the challenges that may be encountered during the implementation of the project, along with those that have already been overcome so far—serving as examples of how to jointly address any future challenges.
The Mayor of the Municipality expressed full readiness to provide institutional support and assistance at every step, with the aim of ensuring that the project is implemented in the most efficient way and within the planned deadlines.
The cooperation between local institutions, contracting companies, and supervision companies is expected to bring significant improvements to the water supply infrastructure, increasing the quality of water supply for the citizens of Gjilan.
This investment, implemented by the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning, and Infrastructure through the FLOWS project and financed by a World Bank loan, aims to modernize the water supply network, guaranteeing a sustainable, safe, and high-quality supply for the citizens of Gjilan and surrounding areas.
Upon completion of the project, Gjilan will have a modern and efficient water supply system, capable of meeting present and future demands for drinking water. This investment will improve the quality of life for citizens, ensure an uninterrupted water supply, and set new standards in water resource management in the region.
