FLOWS and WAPCOS Launch an Intensive Week of Work on the Desivojca Dam

FLOWS Program has welcomed representatives of WAPCOS, marking the beginning of an intensive week of work focused on advancing the detailed design of the Desivojca Dam.

The first in-person meeting between the teams marks an important stage in the development of the Desivojca Dam project, with a focus on technical and institutional coordination and the implementation of the activities planned for the coming week.

During the week, WAPCOS experts will carry out a series of field activities aimed at collecting and reviewing relevant information to support the design process. In parallel, meetings with local institutions are planned to coordinate technical and institutional matters related to the further development of the project.

As part of this engagement, the experts will also hold consultations and meetings with representatives of the World Bank. Cooperation among FLOWS and WAPCOS teams, local institutions and international partners is intended to ensure a coordinated process supported by technical expertise.

The intensive week of activities comes at an important stage in advancing the detailed design of the Desivojca Dam. Field activities and planned meetings will provide an opportunity to exchange information, identify issues requiring further attention, and define the next steps in the design process.

Through this engagement, FLOWS and its partners aim to strengthen coordination among all stakeholders involved and establish the necessary foundation for the continued advancement of the project.
